The T3 is Wills Wing’s top-tier flex-wing competition glider, engineered for pilots who demand the very highest levels of performance, handling, and glide efficiency. Since its introduction in 2019, the T3 has been earning its reputation in contests around the world, praised for being “the most coordinated, balanced and nicest handling glider … in both light and strong thermal conditions.” 1
Its design introduces a breakthrough in tip wand receptacle bearings — a system that dramatically sharpens control authority, especially when the Variable Geometry (VG) is cranked up. This makes thermalling more precise, and glide behaviour more composed at speed. 1
Constructed using high-end materials and refinements, the T3 integrates laminate UV film on the top surface, speed battens, raked tips, carbon-reinforced basetube, rear leading edges and sprogs, and carbon raked tips — all combining to reduce drag and boost aerodynamic efficiency. 1
The sail planform, panel layout, and lower surface colour patterns have been fine-tuned for optimal energy retention at all speeds. We have sizes to accommodate a wide range of pilot weights, from those flying compact sizes for lighter frames up to larger spans for heavier pilots.
