For the Zero to Hero beginner course, absolutely not! We’ll teach you everything from scratch. For Pilot Progression and Guided Tours, you’ll need appropriate hang gliding certification.
Valle de Bravo has remarkably consistent flying weather, but if conditions require schedule adjustments, we’ll adapt the programme to maximize your learning and flying time.
Comfortable athletic clothing, closed-toe shoes with good grip, layers for warmth morning / evening, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure. We provide all flying equipment.
Accommodation is included in all courses. You’ll stay in comfortable lodging within Valle de Bravo, carefully selected for quality and convenience.
Absolutely! We offer Graduate Bundles with promotional pricing on Falcon gliders, harnesses, and helmets. Your first annual inspection is included, plus a welcome pack.
You should be in reasonable physical condition – able to run down a slope and hold your body weight comfortably on uneven terrain. Maximum weight limit: 110 kg (240 lbs) for most courses. Specific fitness requirements vary by course level.
Like any adventure sport, hang gliding involves risk. However, modern equipment, proven training methods, and experienced instruction make it far safer than most people imagine. There are pilots with over 60,000 flights recorded without incident. The vast majority of incidents relate to poor pilot decisions, and our syllabus is designed to mitigate these risks.
