The second-generation Wills Wing carbon speedbar is compatible with all gliders equipped with Slipstream or Slipstream 2 control bars, including Talon and T2 models. A Litestream-compatible version is also available for gliders using Litestream control bars.

This speedbar features a redesigned planform with a deep offset profile. Grip positions are optimized for comfort, control, and aerodynamic efficiency across all phases of flight. Specially designed grip flares allow pilots to maintain optimal bank angles with minimal effort while thermalling.

Structurally, the carbon speedbar is built from aerospace-grade carbon and Kevlar pre-preg laminates, cured under high temperature and pressure. A stainless-steel internal safety cable and CNC-machined corner fittings, milled from solid wrought aluminum, ensure long-term structural integrity. Wills Wing has never used cast fittings in carbon speedbar construction due to their reduced strength and durability.
