Zero to Hero: Beginner Hang Gliding Course
Your Journey into Hang Gliding Starts Here
Our Zero to Hero: Beginner Course is a structured hang gliding course designed to guide you from complete beginner to confident solo pilot.
Your journey begins with a combination of theory and hands-on practice. From your very first hang gliding lesson, you’ll experience free flight on day one. Skills are taught progressively, starting with bunny hops on gentle slopes and building toward higher flights as your knowledge and ability develop.
Safety underpins every single session with us. You’ll learn correct glider assembly and complete pre-flight checks before each flight, ensuring consistency, confidence, safety, and control.

- 6 days of instruction + 1 day off
- Sunday–Sunday, Wednesday off

This week focuses on structured progression and skill refinement. Training begins with a tandem check flight to assess your current ability, then builds through targeted coaching on launch technique, control, and efficiency in the air.
You’ll work on thermaling fundamentals and cross-country preparation, with instruction tailored to Valle de Bravo(opens in a new tab)’s unique sites and conditions. Safety and consistency remain central throughout, with briefings, equipment checks, and instructor guidance before every flight.
